Look at how warm & sunny it was in that picture. AH…memories!
I created this layout using only products from Stampin’ Up! It was actually a card kit but I pushed myself outside of what was expected of this kit and created 8 layouts. I shared a few of them already and this is yet another from the “collection”. That sounds so artsy & official, doesn’t it?!
Anyway, I hope that you enjoy it!
How do you push yourself out of your creative comfort zone? I would LOVE to hear from you in the comments…
Check out my handsome husband before one of his gigs this Summer. We love taking a few moments to take in the scenes and snapping a few pictures. I love these pictures of Marty being Marty-happy and a little silly. This is another layout that I created using a few current Stampin’ Up! goodies and the amazing Cottage Greetings Card Kit. Hope you enjoy it!

A few days ago I shared a layout that I made using the Cottage Greetings Card Kit. I was able to make eight layouts with that kit by adding a few Stampin’ Up! extras to the projects. Today, I hope you enjoy the second layout of that set. I loved challenging myself to use the products from the kit to make fresh, creative pages. I would LOVE to hear from you in the comment section of my blog. Share some love!
LOVIN’ these cards from the June Paper Pumpkin Kit. Each month, I wait very, very impatiently for the new kit. June’s cards were so much fun and very fresh looking. The stamp set is one that I see myself using over & over. Wouldn’t that flower stamp make an awesome background paper for scrapbooking? Watercolor the flowers in gorgeous colors?
I have GREAT news! For a limited time, you can get your first two months of Paper Pumpkin for 1/2 off! Click Here to Sign Up: Paper Pumpkin Subscription
Each month I do a FREE UStream Show featuring the monthly kit.
I LOVE “marrying” Stampin’ Up! (both current & retired) with products from other top notch companies when I create my cards & scrapbook pages. I was scrapbooking since 1998-WAY before I became a demonstrator-so my stash of goodies is packed with all kinds of items.
I created these 5 cards for my ALL OCCASION CARD CLASS that I held recently at the Sony Building in New York City. We had a wonderful time being creative on a Friday night in the city. Interested in joining us? Check out my meetup group, Gotham City Paper & Paint.
These are the awesome Stampin’ Up! Products on my cards:
Stampin’ Up! has the most amazing kits to make your crafting fun and relaxing. Sometimes I sit down and stare at a blank page with no clue where to start. Don’t we all do that? These kits help to take away that problem and get the creativity flowing right away.
Today I am featuring the Cottage Greetings Card Kit. BUT…I didn’t use it for card making at all. Actually, I had a blast creating EIGHT SCRAPBOOK PAGES with this kit. I added a few extras from my Stampin’ Up! stash like birds, sequin trim, doilies, Project Life Cards and Designer Series Paper but most of what you see is from the card kit.
I could not wait to feature these gorgeous pictures of two of my beautiful nieces from the 4th of July. They were loving playing outside in the yard and enjoying the warm weather. I used the papers & wood pieces from the card kit to make this fun banner and couldn’t resist sewing it onto the page.
Here is a video of what is found in the Cottage Greetings Kit:

I LOVE all things butterflies but especially anything that has to do with crafting-paper, embellishments, stamps…you name it. On my most recent UStream Show, I grabbed the brand new Stampin’ Up! Catalog and picked out the cards that feature butterflies. I used those as my inspiration for 3 cards with my own little twists. As a demonstrator, I don’t have ALL of the stuff in the catalog. Sometimes, something isn’t my style or taste. Other times, it may be that I already have something similar in my stash of supplies. I love looking at Pinterest and youtube for inspiration for projects. I think we all have those moments where we want to sit and create but we don’t know where to even start! The catalog is a perfect inspirational solution to get you going.
