Whimsical Flower Canvas

My sister asked me to paint a canvas for her to hang in an empty spot in her kitchen. She wasn’t specific as to a style or vibe for the painting. That was both freeing and nerve-wracking for me. That is something a little scary about making a painting for someone and hoping they love what came from my soul. I knew my sister would love a canvas from me because she loves my art!

These pictures show the step-by-step process of the canvas. I made her a little nervous when I sent the first picture to her. I have to admit that I sent that KNOWING that it would shake her up a bit. I knew it would look NOTHING like that once it was done. (terrible, I know lol) I took it to her and she absolutely loved it & so did my 4 year old niece. I love knowing my canvas is hanging there happily in their kitchen while they share family meals and make memories.

    Heidi,
I really love how this turned out, but the step by step pics really give an appreciation for the artistic process. Awesome!!!!
