Class Before the Storm
February 10th, 2013 by Heidi Bound received 2 Comments »Days before Hurricane Sandy, I took an amazing art class with my artsy friend Michele, Eileen and Pat. THE INK PAD in New York City sponsored this class with the amazing Lynne Perrella.
We started with this plain wooden triptych and turned it into a gothic work of art. You can also see my friend, Eileen’s post about this class. Her art is GORGEOUS!
There’s Michele, Lynne, Eileen, Me and Pat–can you tell we enjoyed ourselves?
My finished piece on display at home….

Having taken classes with Lynne I know how wonderful they can be. This one looks to be no exception. Your creation looks fantastic.
I’m so glad you finally got to take a class with Lynne. Isn’t she an amazing artist and teacher? I think she is the best, and proof of that is the fabulous art everyone walks away with. I love my triptych and have it proudly on display, just as you do. It’s hard to believe it is decorated with paper, and not stained glass. Yours is just beautiful; love the rich jewel tones.
