Heidi Bound New York City

Heidi’s Blog Gotham City Stampers

I am Heidi and have been living in New York City for almost 5 years! I have been loving scrapbooking for 13 years and have evolved into making cards, jewelry, and mixed media projects over the last few years. I teach classes in New York City and am on the design teams for Tuesday Trio and Flying Unicorn. My style is vintage-you will quickly notice my addiction to flowers!

I am married to the love of my life, Marty. He is the designer of the fun, funky and very “different” sketches that spark the creativity of this design team. Each month, you will see Marty’s Masterpiece (sketch) and the creations made by this very talented design team. You will also have the opportunity to create your own cards (or other projects) and link your blog to the sketch blog post.

Eileen Bellomo New York City

Eileen’s Blog Art Saves Lives

I’m Eileen, a native New Yorker and life-long crafter.  For as long as I can remember I’ve loved working with my hands, and have either taken classes in, or taught myself how to sew, knit, throw pots on the wheel, make fused glass pieces, paint, draw, scrapbook, make greeting cards, create jewelry, refinish furniture, make collages, make prints, carve stamps, make soap, do wool felting, and…..did I leave anything out?   All of the above find their way into the mixed media/collage pieces I create.
Currently, I am most enjoying participating in several collaborative art journals, am an admitted paper junkie, and love just messing around with my supplies to create interesting backgrounds for my journal pages.  And I love just about anything Tim Holtz comes up with.
In my prior life as a working person (I am happily retired) I was an elementary school teacher in the NYC public school system for 35 years.  You can follow my art adventures on my blog: http://artsaveslives-paperqueen.blogspot.com

Michele Luxenberg New York City

Michele’s Blog Little Bird Creations Co.

Hi. My name is Michele Luxenberg and I ‘m from New York City. I’m fairly new to papercrafting as I’ve only been doing this for about 4 years. I got hooked after stamping my first image and touching my first pad of ink. I started with scrapbooking and cardmaking and have now expanded into the exciting world of mixed media arts. My style is fairly “clean and simple” although I have been known to occasionally ink an edge or two for a distressed look. I’m a proud member of the Gothamettes and I’m thrilled to be a part of Heidi’s DT!

Connie Deibler Harrisburg, PA

Connie’s Blog Connie Stamps

My name is Connie Deibler, I live in a small town about 30 miles north of Harrisburg, PA.  I love many kinds of crafting from card making, to jewelry making and a lot of things in between.  I hope my projects inspire others to just try something a little different from the same old same old.

Nancy Brokaw Forest Hill, Maryland

I am a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in Forest Hill, Maryland.  I am fairly new, just celebrated 1 year as a demo.  I started as a scrapbooker and discovered stamping about 2 1/2 years ago.  Recently, my husband has told me I was addicted to stampin!  He may be right!  I enjoy creating new designs for cards and gift tags as well as making little gifts for friends.  I also make homemade chocolates – pretzels, Oreo’s, Easter Eggs, Chocolate Covered Kettle Korn - oh, yum!  When I go to upline meetings and club workshops, it’s expected that I show up with some Chocolate!  LOL!

Julia Smith Midlands, UK

Julia’s Blog Stray Dreams Blog

Always crafted but in full bloom for about 4 years now, I am on a constant learning curve and I love that, soaking up all the crafty and arty knowledge and advice that comes my way. I work full time as an IT Training Manager and I live with my partner and 7 cats!!! We have a daughter who is almost 21 and she moved out of home at the end of last year so I have converted her room into my crafting room, which was hard to do but it has positive spirit and it feels good to be in here – everyday!!! I am just passionate about crafting, my favourite form is creating with stamps and inks etc. To fund the crafting addiction I make cards for other people to order so I love it when I get that time to myself to do my own thing which is often full of my stray dreams!

Sarah Rentz Arkansas

Sarah’s Blog Polkadotrentz

My name is Sarah, I’m 25 and a mom of two great little boys. I’m a SAHM and I very much enjoy that. When it comes to my scrapbooking, my kids, hubby, friends and other family inspire me so much. They always give me new and great things to scrap. My hubby thinks I’m a hoarder when it comes to my scrapping goodies, but some of us have talked about this before and we think it just comes along with the craft, lol. Well I am sooo happy and excited to be apart of Heidis’ team, and I hope you like what I bring to the table!

Kathy’s Blog Creating the Hive

(Kathy is on the right with her daughter and mother)

I am an artist, who loves to work with textures, paper, paints, fabrics, yarns and bright colors. My daughter, Charity is the one who got me interested in scrapbooking. I would see the papers and her collection of stamps and punches and wondered why did she have this thing about buying scrapbooking stuff. I searched the web and found some videos and the first one that I watched was Heidi Swapp’s House of 3, then I found Heidi Bound’s live webcasts, then Live with Prima and Laura Denison’s Following the Paper Trail  and the list continues.  I don’t spend my time watching tv, I am always trying to catch up on the recorded webcasts of the talented artists in the scrapbooking world. Last year I attended my first CK Convention in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I had to sit down and take a break from the overload of looking at all the vendor’s booths. It was a wonderful experience and I loved the make and take’s, These individuals have kept me inspired and motivated to create everyday. That’s what I love about being creative, the well of inspiration is never dry. I also love the portability of working with small projects like tags and mini’s. I am a grandmother with 2 grandsons and in July, my first granddaughter is scheduled to arrive. Our family is so excited!
