Love, Patience…FOREVER!

This picture frame took place over months and months. I received the goodies for this project from Swirlydoos in one of my very first kits with them. (Have I mentioned I love them???) I sat one night and made the mosaic frame. Yes, I put all of those little individual squares on the frame. I have to tell you, it was REALLY relaxing! (and absolutely took a ton of patience…)
Once I was done, I set it aside and waited for the perfect picture to put in there. Marty and I have known each other since middle school. We grew up together-we met in the middle school band. I struggled every day to position my chair to be able to stare at him from my flute section to his trumpet section. True story, you can ask some of my middle school AND high school band pals! (I know some of you are reading this and laughing!)
A REALLY long story later and we were married on April 24th, 2010! (Now, THAT is patience…we waited a LONG time for each other!) That picture was perfect for this frame!
Are you loving those flowers? They came from Christmas Tree Shop and were sent to me from a sweet crafter on youtube! I altered the colors (of course) and added some Stickles to give them additional texture.
The bling right under the picture is from Prima–YUMMY! The trim along the bottom came from Swirlydoos! (drool, drool)
